报告人简介：

Dr hab. Marek Stankiewicz 1973年毕业于波兰克拉科夫Jagiellonian大学大学物理系，而后加入了英国雷丁大学的原子和分子光谱学小组，并在达累斯伯里实验室开始了同步辐射的基础研究。他长期在Jagiellonian大学物理研究所工作，并同时进行积极有效的国际合作。他参与了雷丁大学、皇家理工学院（斯德哥尔摩）、伦敦帝国理工学院、瑞典隆德MAX-lab同步辐射中心和意大利的里雅斯特Elettra光源等科研机构大量科研项目。2009年，他获得波兰总统颁发的物理学教授头衔。Dr hab. Marek Stankiew教授长期致力于波兰同步辐射光源的建设，并在2010年被任命为波兰SOLARIS同步辐射光源建设的项目负责人。波兰光源项目完成后，他当选为首任同步辐射中心主任并担任至今。SOLARIS光源基于磁性双弯消色差器的开创性设计建造，具有卓越的同步辐射光性能，是波兰最现代化和最大的多学科研究设施。目前，在项目预算范围内已经有两条最先进的光束线（peem/xas和uarpes）建成。Dr hab. Marek Stankiewicz教授的研究兴趣集中在原子和分子光谱学，以及了同步辐射的基础研究。

Marek Stankiewicz graduated in 1973 from Jagiellonian University Department of Physics, Kraków Poland. In 1986 he joined the Atomic and Molecular Spectroscopy group at University of Reading (UK) and started synchrotron radiation based research at Daresbury Laboratory. Permanently employed at the Jagiellonian University Institute of Physics he continued very intense international scientific collaboration working at University of Reading, Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm), Imperial College London, synchrotron centers MAX-lab in Lund (S), Sincrotrone Elettra in Trieste (I) participating in numerous research projects. In 2009 he received a professor title of physics sciences from President of Poland. Lobbying for a long time the construction of synchrotron in Poland, since 2010 he has been contracted as the project leader of the construction of the National Synchrotron Radiation Centre SOLARIS. After the completion of the project he was selected as the director of the Centre which position he holds at present.SOLARIS has been built using the groundbreaking design of magnetic double bend achromats，resulting in outstanding properties of generated synchrotron light. it is the most modern and largest multidisciplinary research facility in Poland.His research interests focused on atomic and molecular spectroscopy, as well as based research on synchrotron radiation.

10月21日上午，波兰国家同步辐射中心主任、Jagiellonian大学教授Marek Stankiewicz应邀在当代楼高等研究院做了关于波兰同步辐射光源的报告。

在报告中，Stankiewicz教授介绍了波兰光源SOLARIS的建设历史，而后详细地介绍了目前已经投入使用的两条光束线的具体技术参数及设施结构：目前正在运行的两条光束线中，一条用于X光吸收光谱和光发射电子显微镜，另一条用于超快角分辨光电子能谱技术，这为物质的微观结构和能带结构的研究提供了有力武器。最后，Stankiewicz教授对同步辐射中心未来更多光束线的建设计划进行了阐述。

在最后和与会人员的交流中，Stankiewicz教授说明了各研究组在光源使用申请及时间分配方面的事项，并对国际合作表示殷切期望。
