摘要:
Writing and publishing of research articles is a necessary, but not always sufficient requirement to make an impact with your research. To successfully reach and influence your target audiences requires carefully planning your publications, as well as the writing, so that your papers are not only read, but understood, and found meaningful and influential by the readers. These considerations are particularly important if you wish to be published in the world’s top journals. In this talk, Dr Dan Csontos will share his insight into the editorial processes at Nature, outline key strategies to get published therein, and discuss impact-maximizing strategies in a broader sense, including choosing journals in the rapidly changing scientific publishing arena, and key aspects of scientific writing.
简介:Dr Dan Csontos is a science writer, editor and publishing consultant at Elevate Scientific, a science communications agency based in Sweden. Before founding Elevate he was a science editor with the international journals Nature and Nature Physics, a freelance editor with Nature Communications, and a science editor and project manager with Macmillan Science Communications in London.
