主 题:Bridging the Gaps between Heterogeneous and Homogeneous Gold Catalysts

叶溶) was born in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. He received his B.E. degree in Polymeric Material and Engineering from Sun Yat-sen University (Guangzhou, China) in 2011 after conducting research with Profs. Jie-Peng Zhang and Xiao-Ming Chen. He received his M.Sc.<span style=";padding: 0px;line-height: 2;font-family: times new roman;font-size: 16px" color:black;"=""> degree in inorganic chemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2012. Then he moved to University of California, Berkeley and conducted research on catalysis under the guidance of Profs. Gabor A. Somorjai and F. Dean Toste, and received his PhD degree in December 2017. He has over 10 publications during his graduate work, including PNAS, JACS, Nano Lett., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and ACS Cent. Sci. as the first or co-first author. He received research awards and teaching awards, e.g. International Precious Metals Institute Student Award for Precious Metals Research and Teagle Foundation Award for Excellence in Enhancing Student Learning. He will be one of the Presidential Postdoctoral Fellows at Cornell University starting from March 2018.
