主要研究领域及兴趣:

  近年来发展起来的不同高通量测序技术(如ChIP-seqRNA-seqGRO-seq等),带来了不同层次的定量生物学信息,扩大和加深了研究者对于细胞内基因调控的理解,包括对RNA结合蛋白在基因转录和可变剪接中作用的认识。随着测序成本持续下降,高通量测序技术将常规地用于基础和转化医学研究,这将产生海量的生物学数据,同时也带来了挑战。本实验室将建立“干湿混合”的平台,并将专注于生物信息学及RNA系统生物学的研究。主要的工作包含:(1)开发高通量测序数据的可视化和分析工具以及异质型数据的整合平台,帮助生物学研究人员提高数据处理加工速度和能力,促进高通量测序数据转换成生物学发现;2)鉴定RNA转录终止和通读的调控机制及其在相关疾病中的作用;3)基于RASL-seq检测平台建立特定疾病的基因表达及可变剪接的特征图谱;4miRNA的生成加工及功能;5)非编码RNA的结构与功能。同时与其他国内外实验室合作,从生物信息学角度解决多种生物学问题。

  本实验室主要利用高通量测序技术和生物信息学等手段,研究RNA相关的基因表达调控及参与疾病发生的分子机制。热情欢迎对生物信息学及高通量测序技术有兴趣的学生加入。每年拟接收1-2名本科生,2名硕士生,1-博士生和1名博士后。
